Your Sim's name will permanently change as a result of being a witch. Congratulations, you're no longer a non-magical Sim (Smuggle)! She'll also place a spell book and a cauldron in your inventory. Hit that, and the witch will immediately grant you magical abilities without anymore fuss. You know, whatever it takes.Įventually around +75/+25 for the relationship score, a simple pie menu option will be "Teach me the ways of the Light" or "Teach me the path of the Dark," depending on the witch's alignment. Call 'em up, invite 'em over for dinner, or if you're so inclined, get them Woo Hooing like there's no tomorrow. Once you know a witch at all, you simply must befriend them like any other Sim in the game. Again though, don't fret if you want your Sim to be good and all you see are evil witches, because you'll be able to change out relatively easily. In my game, there were a total of three evil witches and two good witches running around the neighborhood, but your mileage may vary. It doesn't matter in the long-run which witch you encounter, because you can train your Sim out of that alignment. They give off a green aura that you might mistake for stinkiness as well!

SIMS APARTMENT LIFE WITCHES SKIN

Evil witches have black dresses, black hats, and a forest green skin tone. Good witches (we'll discuss alignment in a second) wear white robes and have white pointed hats, and give off a blue glow when they walk as well as having gold freckles on their faces. (Specifically, the game states that she pops up more often on a "busy lot.") This, as you might recall from Nightlife, is similar to vampires you're not limited to just the night, thankfully. The game implies that visiting the same community lot many times, especially one with a large building on it, increases the chances that a witch will randomly appear to interact with. To get your first controllable witch, you need to visit a bunch of community lots. Like with vampires and werewolves, the process of initially becoming a witch will be a bit of a pain, but propagating magic is a relatively simple affair. Magic is far better streamlined this time around, fitting better into the idea of The Sims, and being a much easier set of abilities to deal with. Its magic abilities practically broke the game, and the magical backfires from miscast spells would be arguably devastating for the lots and families. Made some minor edits to the photos, because the rest of the house isn’t done so the lighting is weird and patchy for the moment.Back in Sims 1, the final expansion was Makin' Magic. This small personal project has spiralled into something I am actually falling in love with. But, not to toot my own horn, I believe it will be worth the effort. This is going to take a HUGE amount of time, given there is multiple floors, each with different layouts due to the staircase placement I chose. And here is my beautiful Sim making use of the room: The stacks of hay/wheat stuff are meant to tie the whole room together. The weird white sphered are supposed to be cobwebs, and the walls are covered in a mixture of brambles and ivy. I used a mixture of CC and non CC items to get the cluttered effect. The sheer amount of objects and colours makes the tiny blemishes practically unnoticeable. Some stuff is clipping, but I honestly don’t mind. After 2-4 hours of work, here is the Cauldron/Potion room: I want the inside (aside from the Witch basement) to look a bit more vibrant. The exterior is darker than the interior, but that is intentional. The weird coloured patches in the front garden are there so I can make sure everything is symmetrical and perfectly placed. Meaning I have to place dozens of tiny items and cluster them around each other, whilst still making sure the rooms are accessible. I’m doing one room/floor at a time- which is painstaking because I want the house to be as cluttered and eclectic as possible. As you can see, I’ve made a small shrine for the golden statue from the Witches and Warlocks mod- which actually starts a questline when you click on it. The outside will be more vampire-themed, but obviously still with Witchy elements! The basement is a secret area- with a room for Potions and a room for Fortune Telling/Tarots. Here are some shots of the exterior so far: My lovely Sim is a Vampire and a Witch, so I wanted the home to reflect that. Embarked on a quest to make a house in preparation for Realm of Magic- making use of the amazing Witches and Warlocks mod.
